Ilhan Omar (D-MN), one of the first Muslim women elected to Congress.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">No wonder why I am on the \u201cHitlist\u201d of a domestic terrorist and \u201cAssassinate Ilhan Omar\u201d is written on my local gas stations.<\/p>\n<p>Look no further, the GOP&#8217;s anti-Muslim display likening me to a terrorist rocks in state capitols and no one is condemning them! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0ouCaloWqh\">https:\/\/t.co\/0ouCaloWqh<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IlhanMN\/status\/1101614278585536512?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 1, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nWV Act for America \u2014 designated by the Southern Poverty Law Center as an anti-Muslim hate group \u2014 placed the poster outside the chamber to commemorate the state\u2019s GOP day.<\/p>\n<div class=\"inline-ad\"><\/div>\n<p>The poster depicted an image of Omar beneath an image of the burning World Trade Center towers with the words, \u201c\u2018Never Forget\u2019\u201d \u2014 You said.. I am proof that you have forgotten.\u201d Act for America also distributed anti-Muslim articles and pamphlets, including one entitled, \u201cReadin\u2019, Writin\u2019, and Jihadin\u2019 The Islamization of America Public Schools.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The anti-Muslim display was the second Omar has faced in one day. On Friday, the congresswoman tweeted an image of graffiti at a gas station in her home state which said, \u201cAssassinate Ilhan Omar.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo wonder why I am on the \u2018Hitlist\u2019 of a domestic terrorist and \u2018Assassinate Ilhan Omar\u2019 is written on my local gas station,\u201d Omar wrote on Twitter Friday.<\/p>\n<p>But Omar largely dealt with the racism on her own. Few lawmakers spoke out against the the West Virginia GOP for allowing the poster to be displayed. On Saturday evening, Rep.
