(Muqdisho) 31 Jan 2019 – Jeneral Tigabu Yilma Wondimhunegn oo u dashay dalka Itoobiya ayaa loo dhiibey abaanduuulaha wareegtada ah ee ciidamada AMISOM, si uu u bedelo Jeneral Jim Beesigye Owoyesigire, oo xilka hayey tan iyo Jannaayo ee 2018.
Xaflad gaaban oo xil wareejin ahayd oo uu goobjoog ka ahaa Wakiilka ururka Midowga Afrika ee Soomaaliya oo sidoo kale ku magacaaban madaxa AMISOM, Francisco Caetano Madeira ayaa lagu qabtay Muqdisho.
Jeneral Tigabu ayaa lagu amaanay in sida la yiri uu yahay nin waaya arag ku ah arrimaha ciidamada oo uu ka shaqaynayay muddo 34 sanadood ah oo uu qayb ka ahaa Xoogga dalka Itoobiya.
Yeelkeede, waxaa arrintaa mid lala yaabo ku tilmaamay dad uu ka mid yahay weriyaha caalamiga ah ee Raage Oomaar, balse dad badan oo isaga usoo jawaabey ayaa sheegay in Itoobiya ay xubin ka tahay AMISOM, sidaa darteedna aysan wax mucjiso ah ahayn inay sanad qabato xil ka dhexeeya dalal badan, isla markaana aan ahayn howl Itoobiya u gaar ah.
Qaar baa eedda saarayay qaybsanaanta qabyaaladaysan ee Soomaalida, qaar baa madaxdii hore ku eedaynaya inay Itoobiya ka mid noqoto AMISOM, qaar baa madaxda iminka ku eedaynaya inay aad u aamineen Itoobiya, halka qaar ay taagan yihiin inay Itoobiya si toos ah iyo si dadban Somalia uga taliso.

Wow!! – take a moment to think about this….an #Ethiopian general is now in charge of the internationally mandated African military force in #Somalia – the military force which is the ultimate protector of the Federal Government of Somalia. Extraordinary https://t.co/KOzs5UAIGU

Rage, it’s a rotating leadership. Remember… a Djiboutian was in the helm for some time.

Ethiopia is part and parcel of Amisom, so what is the problem here? BTW Ethiopia’s presence and influence in Hargaysa is known to everyone! Does that wow u too?

It’s embarrassing how low Somalia has fallen when we have an Ethiopian in charge of our security.

Somalis refused unity in favour of clanism since 1991 and ever since chaos ensued with no solutions. Don’t be surprised if Neighbouring countries annex Somalia just like Russia did to Crimea.

As much as I understand the gravity of the situation I comfort myself that today Ethiopia is not under tplf anymore – perhaps it’s a blessing in disguise and Ethiopia will bring the AMISOM forces to an stage where they have to fight alshabaab rather sitting in their barracks

Any country contributing to Amisom can be the head of it. General Subagle from Djibouti had that role once. No need for overreaction

All of Somalia is ruled by Ethiopia. Even the northern regions.
This is sad reality— SomaliaUnited (@SomaliaNews252) January 31, 2019
This position been rotating between the troop contributing countries for a long time. Look it up if you don’t believe me!

This is one of the mistakes of previous government of Hassan Sheikh, he introduced Ethiopia into Amisom. If you have anything to say please kindly refer to Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and his team. The current gov’t is cleaning his mess, the damage is already done.

Poor judgment, HSM may introduced into Ethiopia but under Farmajo they are even stronger to the extent they’re taking over the chain of command. Moreover, Puntland governor recently received the credential of Ethiopian new councilor to Garowe.
